I see the initial meeting as a counselling and consultation session. The goal of this initial contact is for you to get to know me and assess what it would be like to work with me on your issues. And for me to get to know you and understand how I can help you. This first meeting is the beginning of a relationship defined by the feeling of being accepted and is sometimes the most important session of the whole therapy, therefore it is charged like any other session. Subsequently, we will deal a lot with your feelings–those that you are aware of and those that you are not. Your past will be as much a topic as what is felt within the therapy hour. We will work with your dreams, start creative processes and gradually better understand how you can make your life more productive and meaningful.
